New Year’s Day Walk 2023 from East Quantoxhead. Very muddy but didn’t deter us from a good breezy walk. Lead by Cherry and John

11 mile hike from Porlock Weir to the AA box at the top of Pitcombe Head. Total elevation gain of 2002 feet. All the weather Exmoor can offer; cool breezes, sun shine (at lunch stop), hail (after lunch), rainfall finally, pleasant stillness at the weir’s seashore at the end of the walk.
